I am a regular passenger of MRT since I live in QC and MRT is the fastest means of transportation in the metro, I ride the MRT when I go to malls like SM and TriNoma. During weekdays, I stay at my dorm but on weekends I go home to QC then I’ll usually go back to Cavite by Monday morning since my Monday class starts at 11:30am.
I am aware of the news about the difficulty in riding the MRT so I always plan to go off early to avoid the Metro rush hour. Just last week I failed to leave our house before 7 AM. When I arrived at the MRT Station, the line for passengers already reached the sidewalks of EDSA, I have no choice but to wait in line for my turn since EDSA is hopeless if it’s a Monday and its rush hour. Luckily I was able to ride the MRT after waiting for 30 mins because of a scheduled First Load train. | During the travel, It was really crowded. I wont feel the air-conditioning unit of the train for to overloaded passengers. It was like we are sardines sealed in a can, we can’t even move and once you’re inside the train, you won’t easily get-off the train unless you’ll get off in the last station. From GMA Kamuning Station to Tatf Avenue Station, it took me 45 mins, yeah I saved like 2hours travel if I rode a bus via EDSA for drive a car but the experience is very unpleasant. I like bathe on my own sweat while inside. I was really challenging, You’ll feel like a warrior after successfully getting off the MRT alive, Its fulfilling though. |
